Emergency Broadband Benefit
The Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) is a temporary federally funded program to help families stay connected during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is available to those who have experienced a substantial loss of income, meet federal poverty guidelines or qualify based on other criteria. Assurance Wireless is an Emergency Broadband Benefit provider.
How Do I Qualify for an EBB plan?
Not every EBB offer is the same. With Assurance Wireless Unlimited, you receive a FREE smartphone, plus all the following benefits every month:
- FREE Unlimited Data
- FREE Unlimited Texts
- FREE Unlimited Minutes
- FREE 10GB Hotspot Data
During congestion, heavy data users (>35GB/mo.) and customers choosing Assurance Wireless or similarly prioritized plans (e.g., T-Mobile Essentials, Metro by T-Mobile) may notice lower speeds than other customers due to data prioritization.
How Do I Qualify for An EBB plan
You can enroll in our Assurance Wireless Unlimited plan if you participate in one or more government assistance programs, such as SNAP or Medicaid. You may also qualify based on your household income. Please be prepared to provide proof of program participation or proof of income during the Emergency Broadband Benefit application process.
Are You an Assurance Wireless Customer?
If you already participate in our Lifeline Assistance program, you qualify for EBB and Assurance Wireless Unlimited. However, to enjoy the FREE federal benefits, you must indicate your interest by signing up now for this temporary plan.
Hurry, EBB is a Limited-Time Opportunity
Our Assurance Wireless Unlimited plan will be around as long as the EBB funds last or until six months after the government declares an end to the COVID-19 pandemic-whichever comes first. Connect with our free plan today.
