FCC rules state you must use your FREE Assurance Wireless Lifeline service at least once every 30 days.


Once you’ve been approved for Lifeline service, you MUST make a call, send a text or go online (not using Wi-Fi) from your Assurance Wireless phone to keep your FREE Lifeline service.  Then, be sure to use your phone at least once every 30 days.


If you do not place a call within 15 days of receiving a termination notice, your Lifeline service will be terminated and you will no longer be able to use your FREE Assurance Wireless Lifeline phone service and will need to re-apply. After termination of your Lifeline service, if you want to continue to use your Assurance Wireless phone, you may pay 10¢ per minute and 10¢ per text message.


Remember, as an Assurance Wireless Lifeline customer you get FREE minutes, FREE texts and FREE data each month. So, don’t put your phone in a drawer and forget about it. Use your phone at least once every 30 days to call friends, family, healthcare providers or emergency services.  Don’t risk losing your FREE Assurance Wireless service!
